Currently, seven parties have received certificates, and seven have been dissolved. A total of 28 parties are under registration, including Ujyalo Nepal Party, Rastriya Parivartan Party, Janyug Party, Rastriya Swaraj Party, Nepali Pratham Party, Navanirman Party, Awaz Party, and Pragatisheel Nagarik Party.

Although Energy Minister Kulman Ghising supports Ujyalo Nepal Party, his name is not officially listed. Other parties have proposed various election symbols, such as a bow, flute, cross and sickle, rose, circle, spade, banana tree, sapling, and fist with rice.
