In his address, Singh claimed to have achieved the highest expenditure record in Madhesh Province’s history—71.48 percent of the allocated budget. He also said he made sincere efforts to curb corruption and the influence of mafias in the health and education sectors.

Singh remarked that his resignation was exaggerated and that attempts had been made to assassinate his character.
