Kathmandu- Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s health condition is steadily improving, party officials confirmed on Friday.

According to party spokesperson Min Bahadur Bishwakarma, Deuba sustained serious injuries above the neck, requiring 12 stitches. He is now able to walk and speak, but doctors advised keeping him in the hospital for a few more days, as he still experiences dizziness and discomfort when speaking for long.

Deuba was seriously injured during the Gen Z protests on September 9 (24th Bhadra) after being attacked at his Budhanilkantha residence. The Nepali Army later rescued him via ground route amid obstruction from protesters.
