US President Donald Trump has appealed to his supporters to donate $15 in a 24-hour fundraising campaign organized by his political group, Never Surrender Inc., saying he wants to “try to go to heaven.” The email appeal references last year’s attack when a bullet narrowly missed his ear.
Trump wrote, “I should never have returned to the White House. But God saved me so that I could make America great again.” He also highlighted ongoing challenges, including impeachment proceedings, election campaigns, and lawsuits, emphasizing the need for loyalty from his supporters.
In the fundraising email, Trump urged supporters to give $15 so that the donation “can go on record.” According to Election Commission documents, Never Surrender Inc. has already collected over $1.8 million this year.
This unconventional fundraising effort underscores Trump’s continued connection with his base as he navigates upcoming legal and political battles.
