Agency: English club Chelsea has clinched the FIFA Club World Cup title. In Sunday’s final, Chelsea defeated Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) 3–0 to become champions. The match took place at MetLife Stadium in New York, USA, where Chelsea secured a 3–0 lead in the first half. Cole Palmer scored twice, and João Pedro added one goal to seal the victory.

Despite PSG’s strong performance throughout the tournament, their attack faltered in the final. Chelsea executed a defensive strategy, scoring all three goals through counterattacks. Goalkeeper Robert Sánchez proved to be a key obstacle, denying PSG’s limited chances.

Palmer opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, beating goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma with a strike inside the penalty area. In the 30th minute, Palmer finished in similar fashion, solidifying Chelsea’s lead.

João Pedro made it 3–0 in the 43rd minute, finishing a chipped shot off a pass from Palmer. In the 85th minute of the second half, PSG was reduced to 10 players when João Neves received a red card via VAR for pulling Marc Cucurella’s hair.

Cole Palmer was also named the tournament’s best player.
